Social Events & Tours

Besides an excellent scientific program, we have also lined up a great social and tour program.

The Welcome Reception falls on the night of the Moon Festival and you will be able to experience the multifaceted culture of Taiwan at the reception, with various traditional cultural performances and a wide range of Chinese gourmet and Taiwanese snacks for you to see and taste. The event is complimentary for all congress participants.
The Gala Dinner will be held at the Grand Hotel which is one of the most prestigious hotels in Taiwan. It is well recognized for its traditional palace style architecture, vermilion pillars and history. You will surely be mesmerized by the unique structure, carvings and dragon motifs throughout the entire hotel. Tickets are available for purchase at USD100 via the online registration system.

September will also be a great time to see the beautiful Taiwan via the optional tours offered. You will most certainly be amazed at the diversity of culture and experience that Taiwan has to offer. From the famous Taroko Gorge, to the breathtaking scenery of the Sun Moon Lake, to a more cultural experience such as the Chiufen Village, National Palace Museum or Sanhsia Tsu Shih temple and many more.
